In English class we have been reading an amazing novel written by Elie Wiesel. This book describes the tragic but true events that happened from 1939-1945. The Jew's were treated so badly that they did not have feelings anymore. When Elie's father died Elie felt a relief that he didn't have to care for him anymore. In Shlomo's memory we have written an eulogy. This is what Elie might have said.
" Shlomo, my father was a great and intelligent being. He was known as father, friend, husband and uncle. He was the reason i am standing here right now. Before the horrible nightmare we were never close, but as we moved to the ghettos i started relying on him and my mother more and more. When we were transported my only fear was not to lose him. He wanted to look strong for me, for us. He knew to ration our food, he knew that if he couldn't live then i could continue our legacy. His main goal for me to live. We were each others life line. The Holocaust made me realize how much i loved and needed my father. Even though he is not here physically he is in my heart. Always and forever. May he welcomed into the kingdom of God for staying faithful. "

Zooooo! For Or Against????
When you hear the laughter and the excitement of children you know where your at. You are at the Houston zoo! Birds caw, lions roar, and monkeys screech, all while your walking by. Even though we enjoy it some are against it...
Sure they aren't in their natural habitat but its pretty close. Without the Houston zoo we wouldn't be able to see a lion or a tiger in front of us. The Houston zoo does a phenomenal job of taking care of the animals. the animals are well liked and loved by adoring fans of all size and ages. Research shows the attendance at the Houston zoo has increased wildly in since they started. Don't take the experience of visiting a zoo away from kids. The zoo takes care of the animals well and bieng in captivity allows them to reproduce. Everyone should get to see a wild animal that cant kill them. Dont be a child dream murder!!!!
